Absolute trash and racist customer service. We booked this hotel and the guy at the desk had a horrible attitude and showed extremely dismissive behavior from the very start. In all my 26 years of life, this is the only time I've ever experienced this type of treatment from the get-go at a professional business.
Never have I ever experienced anything remotely close to this bad at any hotel. Book here at your own risk.
As a diamond rewards member I highly recommend you stay away from this establishment if you seek to enjoy a good nights sleep. First of foremost Best western never informed me that there was a fire and that half of the hotel was yellow taped and reaping with burnt wood. I made a reservation and requested two cribs, upon arrival they promised that they will deliver what I asked within a short time period, however after returning back to my room there was only bought one crib. I was forced to have one of my babies sleeping crammed up with myself and my wife. In addition, we had an issue with roaches crawling around our bedding and towels. I actually gave them over a month to try to reconcile this matter and to no avail they never returned a call or email, and so now I stand here writing this offer review. Stay away from this best Western in Princeton!!!! They lost my business forever!!!
Fun reading some of the reviews about this particular location I must say I was very skeptical because some of the reviews came off as to be conflicting therefore wasn't sure if I wanted to stay at this location. However I do understand that you can't listen to everything you read because there is always that element that will complain no matter what and always find something to nitpick at for the littlest things. it's totally understandable that your value is truly yours however let's face it we all get what we pay for with that being said this location was totally outstanding for its value, very clean inside out, straight location and nice landscape the staff were very friendly and absolutely had no problem with trying to accommodate with whatever you need. the beds more comfortable and clean as well as the bathrooms I definitely did not smell any orders or experience any grind. I'm a traveling salesman who travels often through New Jersey never use this particular location before but from now on when I'm in the area this will definitely be my rest place of choice. I stayed in hotels for 400 night and for 100 night this location was definitely one of the best values I ran across in a long time.
He referred to my friend as "her wife" even though I am a man and she is a female, and acted like he barely spoke English and said that "you're just wasting your time" when we were having issues with matching the third party booking payment to the payment at the hotel, which was due to the hotel's payment system flaws (supposedly, according to him at least).
Was a good stay, nothing really exceptional but it was clean, wifi didn't work which was a killer, cell service is also bad there. Breakfast ends a bit too early. Who's getting up at 9:30? Beds were comfortable. Towels were a bit rough. For some reason I expected more for the price, I have stayed at comparable hotels for half the price. In nicer locations.
After being treated like I've never been treated in my entire life, I genuinely asked him if he hates us or has racist feelings against us. He reacted incredulously and kept bringing this up, but there is no doubt that his behavior changed after that. His English was all of a sudden much better and he was finally treating us with some decency. This made us even more suspicious and we decided it would not be worth it to stay the night here, and made the decision to sleep in the car, as this was 2 a.m. in the morning.
Best hotel, for what you need. If you travel lots. If you need to change sheets lots. Lots of good people around, alot of good company. It have what you need. Can get some work done here, you can.
